We always encourage our clients to take on a maintenance contract with their project in order to maximise the potential of the site. If you purchase the maintenance contract in advance our hourly rate is lower and you have a priority response time. FAQ's

Why update my site?

Updating your site is probably the most important task. It is vital to keep your site fresh so that it is visited regularly. Search engines who send spiders will note the changes, and your ratings will improve.

What is the point of re-registering my site?

Re-registering your site is very important to keep your search engine ratings high. Some search engines send out a spider to check for changes in your site but the majority don't. Some directories will place you in a list of new sites, but as more people register you eventually will disappear.

How do I send information to you regarding changes?

All information would normally be sent by email. (Any information sent to us hardcopy will be charged extra.)

What format shall I send text?

The best format to send text is as a text file (********.txt), rich text format (*******.rtf) or as a word document (********.doc). Most word processing packages let you save in these formats.

What format shall I send images?

Graphics are best sent as .gif, .jpg, .png. We can accept most formats but these need to be agreed with us first.

Does my maintenance agreement include creation of custom graphics?

This is something that we are happy to do but not as part of the maintenance agreement. Custom graphics are charged at a higher hourly rate.

Does my maintenance agreement include creation of navigation graphics?

Yes- buttons or cloned graphics can be created.

What if my site needs re-designing?

This is something that Nexus Internet Solutions would be very happy to do, but it does not fall within the scope of the maintenance agreement.
